About
Polish born, Scotland based
I grew up in Silesia, spent my school holidays in the Tatras, and have lived in Scotland long enough to know how a Scottish working week actually goes. withbartek exists because those two facts fit together: Poland is three hours away, and almost nobody uses that properly.
I'm not a tour operator. There's no coach, no group of forty, no fixed departure dates. I plan one trip at a time around the days you can take off, then handle the parts that are annoying from the UK — transfers, timed tickets, mountain guides, somewhere to eat that isn't on the square.
Most people come to me having thought about Poland for years without booking it. That's the problem I'm trying to remove.

If you already know where you want to go, the short trips pages cover Kraków, Zakopane and Silesia in detail. If you don't, tell me how many days you have and I'll tell you what fits.
